The real fact is that the Caravan insurance is not a legal requirement. There are three major types of Caravan Insurance such as touring caravan insurance, Static Caravan insurance, and folding camper insurance. In the first type of Caravan insurance, the caravans are towed behind another vehicle. The second one covers the entire things such as the accidental or the intentional damage. The third type is a centric point between a campervan and a tent. It is said to be that the traditional caravans are less secured one and at the same time they also offer stable shelter. There are two types of excesses on the caravan insurance such as compulsory excess and voluntary excess. In the compulsory excess, the amount is deducted from the settlement actually made to the person. Here, the company requires that a person pays towards any claim made on the policy. Voluntary excess is nothing but the amount a person agree to pay towards a claim including the compulsory excess. There is a selected list of policies which exclude a selection of the eventualities which includes the wear and tear, mechanical breakdown and the deterioration etc.
